On Friday, April 29th, 2016, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Smithfield Police Detectives, along with Bryant University Department of Public Safety, executed a search warrant in Hall 3 on the Campus of Bryant University and arrested Zachary Holt, age 22, of 75 Andrew Street Newton, Massachusetts. Holt was being investigated by Smithfield Police Detectives for distributing narcotics on the Campus of Bryant University. Based on this investigation, Detectives obtained a search warrant for Holt and his dorm room.
Zachary Holt was found to be in possession of Marijuana, Cocaine, LSD, Hash Oil, a digital scale, narcotic packaging materials and $2,315 in United States Currency. Holt is being charged with Possession of Marijuana w/Intent to Deliver, Possession of LSD w/Intent to Deliver and Possession of Cocaine. He will be held without bail and will have a bail hearing in Kent Count District Court on Monday, May 2nd, 2016.
