2018 HOPE’S CLOSET
PROM ATTIRE COLLECTION
TO BENEFIT YOUTH IN RI FOSTER CARE SYSTEM
DO YOU HAVE NEW or GENTLY USED FORMAL OR PROM ATTIRE HANGING IN YOUR CLOSET? (Dresses, Blazers, bow ties, shoes, jewelry)
Ava Sangiovanni, sophomore at Mount St. Charles Academy and life-long Smithfield resident, has spearheaded a collection with the help of her school and community to help RI foster youths fulfill their dreams of attending prom.
Did you know most foster children in RI live in group homes and do not have the benefit of attending their prom because of the inability to shop or the rising costs of attire and accessories? Your donations to Hope’s Closet can offer that youth hope to attend their prom.
HOW you can help:
Donate new or gently worn pants, blazers, suits, gowns and dresses on a hanger or in a bag (including shoes and accessories). All sizes welcome!
Drop-off Dates and Location:
*February 5-28th Smithfield Police Station, 215 Pleasant View Avenue (preferably during normal business hours).
