Seeking qualified applicants for the part time, hourly position of Crossing Guard. Morning (7:00am-9:00am) and/or afternoon (2:30pm-3:30pm) positions available, M-F, Rate is $15.99 per hour. Dispatcher—Smithfield Police Department:
Part-time (weekend shifts), approximately 15 hours per week, no benefits. Responsibilities include receiving citizen requests for assistance, providing radio dispatch services, initiating deployment of police personnel and equipment, etc. Has the ability to work under stressful conditions with excellent verbal/written skills. Requires the following: a high school diploma or G.E.D; typing skills; Microsoft Word proficiency; one year of experience with law enforcement dispatching software; one year of law enforcement dispatching experience. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills; at least one year of police dispatching experience and at least one year of experience with law enforcement dispatch & records management software preferred.
