On Monday, September 24, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Smithfield Police Detective Division arrested Bryan J. Borzell, age 41, of 100 Log Road, Smithfield. Borzell was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, Unlawful Manufacturing of Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana 1-5 kilograms, Possession of Trenbolone Acetate, Possession of Testosterone Propionate and Possession of Methandienone.
Smithfield Detectives received information that Borzell was operating an illegal marijuana grow on the property at 100 Log Road. Smithfield Detectives conducted an investigation, which lead them to obtain a search warrant for the residence. Detectives seized 22 marijuana plants from the property, approximately 4.78 pounds of marijuana, three 200mg containers of liquid Testosterone Enanthate, two 100mg containers of liquid Trenbolone Acetate, one 100mg container of liquid Testosterone Propionate, two small pill bottles containing two hundred 10mg tablets of Methandienone, two small pill bottles containing two hundred 50mg tablets of Stanozolol, 37 USB vape pens, packaging materials, and equipment for making marijuana extracts.
Borzell was taken into custody without incident. He was held overnight and later appeared in Kent County District Court before the Honorable Judge Anthony A. Capraro. Borzell was held without bail and has a bail hearing on October 9th, 2018. His Pre Arraignment Conference date is December 26th, 2018, to answer the charges.
