On November 10, 2017, members of the Smithfield Police Department Detective Division, along with members of the Providence Police Department, arrested Jason Nealy, age 50, of 49 Royal Avenue, Providence, for Breaking & Entering and two counts of Conspiracy. Nealy was arrested at his place of employment, following an investigation by Smithfield Police Detectives of the November 6th, 2017, breaking and entering at Louie’s Barber Shop, located at 129 Dean Avenue, where numerous barber supplies were stolen.
Nealy was taken into custody without incident. He was later transported to Third District Court in Warwick and arraigned before the Honorable Judge Elaine Bucci. Bail was set at $10,000 surety. Nealy, a violator in Superior Court, was held pending a violation hearing.
